Canada to host Iran film

Iranian title ‘Mordehkhor’ has been screened at the Muslim International Film Festival in Canada.

Directed by Sadegh Sadegh-Daghighi, the film was screened during two nights at the second edition of the festival.

The comedy social drama narrates the story of a family’s daily life.

Linda Kiani, Sam Derakhshani, Jamshid Hashempour, Ladan Mostofi and Ahmad Mehranfar star in this movie.

“The Muslim International Film Festival (MIFF) was founded with one vision in mind: to provide a platform for the current and aspiring filmmakers, videographers, designers, creatives, media junkies and moviegoers to portray Muslim excellence on the big screen.

As an international platform, MIFF aims to include and showcase the diverse voices of anyone whose mind is bursting with a story and a dream to bring it to life,” the official website of the event wrote.

This year’s edition of the festival was held on October 1-2 in Toronto, Canada.
