Hindu Temple in Iran's port city

Hindu Temple in the port city of Bandar Abbas is one of the most remarkable historical monuments in Iranian province of Hormozgan.

The spectacular architecture of the temple and the material used for construction make it different from other buildings in Iran.

On the interior walls of the temple locally known as Botgoran, you can find beautiful paintings, although some of them now need to be restored.

The structure built in the 19th century was made possible by Indian people's donations.
