Siah Darvishan Pond, a tourist attraction in north Iran

Siah Darvishan Pond in Gilan Province is one of the most beautiful ponds of the Middle East with valuable animal and plant species.

Masouleh, Roudman, Ghaleh Roudman and Pasikhan Rivers provide the water of this pond.

Located a few kilometers north east of Some’eh Sara City, the pond hosts many bird species in migration seasons.

The vegetation of the pond includes lotus flowers, phragmites and poplar trees.
