The secretariat of the 15th edition of the Iran International Documentary Film Festival (CinemaVérité) has so far received 2611 films from around the world.
The selecting board of the festival is slated to review the submitted films.
The received films of the international section will be grouped into three main parts of short documentaries (up to 40 minutes), mid-length (40 to 70 minutes) and full-length (over 70 minutes).
Over 70 countries have submitted works to this year’s edition of the festival.
Cinema Verite has several sections, including National, International, and Martyr Avini Prize, Entrepreneurship Documentary Competition, Coronavirus Special Section, Side Sections and commemorations.
The international section of the festival contains several non-competition sections such Special Displays, Mirror of a Festival, Portrait and Perspective of One Country Documentary Cinema.
Directed by Mohammad Hamidi Moghaddam, the Cinema Vérité will be held in December 9-16, 2021.
