Directed by Ziba Arzhang, the 6-minute film is about a city painted on a tile that undergoes intense explosion and bombardment.
Due to the incident, the sun breaks into many pieces and the city gets dark. But the people build a new sun together.
The Iranian animation has participated in several international film festivals, including the international film festival for children and young people (Anifest Rozafa) in Albania, the LAMPA - International festival of short films, social video, and advertising in Russia, the Golden Beggar International Film Festival in Slovakia, the Florida International Animation Festival and the Fine Arts Film Festival in the US, the River International Film Festival in Italy, and the Washington DC International Film Festival in the US.
According to the official website of the Utopia Film Festival, “it seeks documentaries, feature films, shorts and animation which creatively explore the personal, social, political, cultural and environmental issues which challenge humanity’s never-ending quest for a better world”.
The 2021 edition of the event is scheduled for November 20-21.
