First love encounter in 'Setayesh' series

New episode of iFilm series 'Setayesh' depicts a love encounter that will go a long way.

In the attached video, you can catch a turning point in the second episode of the melodramatic series where the love at the first sight plays out.

Such encounter is just the beginning of a romantic love story may well call to mind a famous line by globally renowned Persian poet Hafez that reads, "Path of love seemed easy at first, what came was many hardships."

The series starts with Taher's story who has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression.

His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country. Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.
