Iran's ‘The Snail’ on way to UK fest

Iranian short flick ‘The Snail’ has been schedule to take part in the Earl’s Court International Film Festival (ECFF) in the UK.

Directed by Mohammad Torivarian, the short film will go on screen at the 7th edition of the British event.

‘The Snail’ narrates the story of three young people who want to cross the border illegally and enter Turkey. The human traffickers involved in the unlawful act disturb the plan due to their religious beliefs.

Torivarian’s film won a Special Mention at the International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva in Switzerland.

The film has already participated in a number of international film events, including the Beloit International Film Festival in the US.

The ECFF is an annual event, which its 2021 edition has been slated for November 12-19.
