Iran’s Fars Province to host Daffodil Festival

The Iranian province of Fars is set to host Daffodil Festival in early December.

The five-day festival will open in the historical village of Karadeh in Fars Province on December 8, 2021.

Karadeh is one of the main hubs of daffodil production in the country, covering an area over 350 hectares.

Other horticultural and agricultural products of the region include pomegranates, pomegranate paste, various herbal essences, almonds, the supply of rural and nomadic handicrafts, rugs, pottery, and glassworks.

Included in the list of the programs set for tourists and visitors on the sideline of the festival are visiting the tourist attraction of Khafar including the Mausoleum of Jamasp Hakim, the tomb of Sheikh Khalifa in the village of Jerreh, the Morvarid Waterfall in the city of Bab Anar.
