Pakistan PM praises Iranian short film

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has lauded Iranian short film 'Thursday Appointment' on his social media page. 

Official Instagram account of Pakistan PM published a video featuring Iran short film 'Thursday Appointment' by Mohammad-Reza Kheradmandan, captioning, "Beautiful Iranian short film, 'Thursday Appointment'".

The short is a beautifully moving story of an old man driving in the busy streets of Tehran. At the traffic lights, he notices a young girl who is sad in the back seat of her parents' car, they are too busy arguing. The old man intervenes and gives his wife's flowers to the young couple to stop them from arguing. We only realize how important those flowers were to the old man when he drives off.

The short film has greatly influenced online viewers on social media platforms as the story strikes a chord with everyone including the current prime minister of Pakistan. The short has crossed two million views on YouTube.
