Cineaste filmfest to host Iran ‘Breach’

The Cineaste International Film Festival in India has been scheduled to screen Iranian short slick ‘Breach’.

The short film is written by Masoud Hasheminejad and directed by Shahab Hosseinpour.

The 19-minute film tells the story of a young couple who move to a sinister house and experience strange supernatural events.

The cast list of the film includes Sara Tavakkoli, Mohammad Ali Mohammadi, Farshid Nasseri, Parastou Qaed-Rahmat, Niloufar Rad, Amir-Hossein Bolouri, Hassan Babaee, Sobhan Sohrab, and Roza Danazadeh.

‘Breach’ has already gone on screen at some global events, including the Around the World in 20 Shorts Film Festival in Argentina, the Portland Horror Film Festival in the US, and the Onkyo Film Awards in Estonia.

Organized by Metropolitan University, the 2021 edition of the Cineaste International Film Festival is slated for December 15-21.
