Iran preparing to celebrate Yalda night

Iranians have been preparing to celebrate Yalda that is the last night of autumn.

For thousands of years, Yalda has been one of the most important celebrations in Persian culture.

Every year on Yalda night, families come together, prepare fruits such as pomegranates and watermelons, and also nuts for a joyous gathering.

In recent years, people design their houses and clothes using Yalda symbols.

A week before Yalda night, almost all the shopping centers and bazaars are filled with everything that is in red; Tehran’s old bazaar of Tajrish is not an exception though.
