Visit Iran’s Qanat-e Ebrahim Abad

Qanat-e Ebrahim Abad or Ebrahim Abad Water Reservoir in Markazi Province of Iran shows how Iranians were ahead of time in hydraulic engineering.

Markazi Province of Iran is a geographical region in Iran where people have always faced water shortage; however, the locals found a way to reserve water for everyday use and farming.

Building such water reservoirs has been an intelligent solution for the everlasting problem.

Ebrahim Abad Water Reservoir was built by the end of Qajar Dynasty for public use. Right now, the construction is registered as an Iranian national heritage.
