Famed Iranian vocalist performs live one of his memorable songs in the presence of Iran Cultural Heritage minister.
Traditional music singer Salar Aqili recently performed part of his patriotic song ‘Iran’ at the office of Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Ezzatollah Zarghami.
He performed a vocals-only of his song with no instrumental accompaniment, his grabbing voice, though, stood out and amazed the Iranian minister.
Below are the translated lyrics to ‘Iran’ performed by Aghili in the video.
O Iran, I swear by your soil tired of hardships
By placid lump of Mount Damavand
My passion for life is linked to your happiness
O Iran, They broke your heart, treating you with hatred
Yet many anonymous lovers feel all the pain you do
O Iran
