Christian Iranians baptize for New Year

Armenian-Iranian Christian folks in Tabriz have held baptism ceremony in Saint Mary Church.

New Year is a chance to start anew. It is full of possibilities and time when New Year’s resolutions are made.

Therefore, Christians around the world usually hold baptism ceremony as they enter the fresh year.

Christians in Iran also hold this religious ritual some six days after the New Year has arrived.
