‘Lullaby’ to vie at Portuguese fest

Iranian short film ‘Lullaby’ has been selected to compete at the 4th edition of the Moinho Cine Fest in Portugal.

Directed by Elham Khazaee, the short film is about a woman who works in a sewing shop.

The woman, against her boss’ wishes, responds to her cellphone when she is at work. She calls her baby and sings her a lullaby.

Also written by Khazaee, the cast of the short film includes Roha Qadiri, Arezou Banaee, and the director.

The short film has previously participated in a number of international film festivals, including the Alvorada Film Festival in Brazil that awarded ‘Lullaby’ the Best Short under 3 Min award.

The International Moinho Cine Fest film festival for micro and nano-films will be held on April 1-30, to host films from around the world.
