Golmarz Wetland, Iran’s less-known beauty

Located near Urmia city in West Azarbaijan Province, Golmarz Village is one of the less-known tourist attractions of the region.

This village has a very beautiful and spectacular wetland which is known as Golmarz wetland or Golmarz catchment.

With wild goose birds and ducks, the beauty of the wetland is doubled.

Spring and summer are the best time to visit the wetland which is fourteen meters deep and hosts fish such as carp and trout.
