The young actor/director that has already won best film award for his feature, ‘The Corridor’, at the 31st Fajr Film Festival attended the screening and press conference of his latest film at the 40th edition of the same film event in Iran.
At the meeting he shed into tears speaking of his love for his hometown, Iran. He mentioned that as his movie narrates the story of a woman who comes back to Iran after some 30 years to attend the funeral of her dad and get what he had left for her, all who have immigrated and moved to other lands will eventually come back to their country.
Mostafa Zamani, popular star of ‘Prophet Joseph’, who is also among the cast of ‘No Prior Arrangement’, also attended the screening session. Besides the fact that this role was a religious one and he was familiar with such characters as his debut into acting was with one such role, he stated that his reason for accepting the role was that the filming was outdoors and there was less worry for him regarding the pandemic.
Pegah Ahangarani, Elham Korda and Saber Abar are also on the cast list of the flick.
