Iran marks anniv. of Islamic Revolution

On the eve of the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, a ceremony was held at the iconic tower of Azadi in Tehran to celebrate the auspicious occasion.

Iranian classical singer Salar Aqili took part in the ceremony that was held on Thursday.

Fireworks displays were also carried out during the ceremony. 

The Islamic Revolution toppled the former US-backed despotic regime of Pahlavi in 1979.
