S Korea hosting Iran’s permanent exhibition center

Iran has opened a permanent exhibition center in the Multicultural Museum of Seoul, South Korea.

The exhibition was inaugurated on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The exhibition is a platform to showcase some of Iran’s art and civilization.

One of the objectives behind this move has been said to be familiarizing people with the history and cultural characteristics of the two countries as there are very rich cultural commonalities between Iran and South Korea.

On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a film, with South Korean subtitles, of Iran’s economic, industrial and scientific achievements, along with images of its natural landscapes, as well as Iranian folk music, was broadcast, which were welcomed by the attendees.

Located in Eunpyeong-gu, western Seoul, the five-story Multicultural Museum hosts over 2,000 cultural items related to the traditional customs of countries all over the world, ranging from foreign banknotes to masks and musical instruments.
