Iran demon film captured in Armenia

Here is an exclusive cut from Iranian film ‘Al’  (demon) set in Armenia and themed on scary folktales associated with childbirth. 

'Al' (demon) is filmed in Yerevan and features famous Iranian actor Mostafa Zamani. It narrates a story that follows a class of demons known as Al or other names in the folklore of the Caucasus, Iran, Central Asia, and Armenia.

 Als are demons of childbirth, interfering with human reproduction. The folktales associated with al have somewhat similar narratives. The als may steal the lung, liver and heart of women in childbirth, pregnant women, or newborns.
