The group, who entered the country last Thursday, will visit Tehran, Isfahan and Fars provinces by March 10.
The documentary, which will focus on Iranian food and souvenirs, is scheduled to be aired by All-Asian Satellite Television and Radio Operator (ASTRO) and some TV networks in Southeast Asia region in the coming holy month of Ramadan.
The Kuala Lumpur-based documentary filmmakers aim to document the day-to-day lives of Iranians in urban environments such as the traditional bazaar of Tehran.
The group will pay a visit to Tehran’s Traditional Bazaar as well as internationally recognized heritage sites including Golestan Palace, Persepolis, Naqsh-e Rostam ancient archeological site, Pasargad, as well as Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan.
Organized by the office of Iran’s Tourism Marketing and Advertising of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, the trip is aimed to pave the way for promoting food-oriented tourism and advertising Iranian souvenirs.
