Iranian art exhibition held in Verona

The city of Verona in Italy has played host to an exhibition of Iranian artworks titled ‘Iran Milleeun Colore’.

The exhibition was held in cooperation of cultural counselor of Iran's embassy in Italy, representative of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, Italian-Iranian Center for Cultural-Economic Cooperation, and the municipality of the Verona.

The Iran Milleeun Colore was opened on March 21, concurrent with the Persian New Year of 1401, and wrapped up on March 23.

The opening ceremony was held with celebrating the New Year in presence of the former chairman of Niavaran Cultural House of Tehran, advisor for Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran, mayor of Verona, manager of a historical center of the city, and Iranian consul-general in Milan.

The organizers played traditional Iranian music during the opening ceremony while the place was decorated with an Iranian-style banquet.

A panel to review Iranian artworks was held to speak about the works exhibited in the event, which was attended by officials from Verona and Iranian guests.

The exhibition put some 100 artworks, including paintings, calligraphy works, wood art, and ceramics designs, on display.
