German fest hosting Iranian ‘Form’

Iranian short film ‘Form’ has been competing at the 2022 edition of the Filmfest Dresden, International Short Film Festival in Germany.

A synopsis to the short reads, “The 18-year-old Mahnazir is an Afghan immigrant living in Iran. In order to protect her family, Mahnazir has to change.”

Directed by Saeed Qasemi, the cast of the short includes Somayeh Hosseini, Amir-Mohammad Hosseini, Abdola Nazari, Freshteh Fouladi and Ehsan Azizi.

‘Form’ is competing at the 34th edition of German festival.

According to the official website of the festival, “FILMFEST DRESDEN was founded in 1989, the short film festival focuses on short film in all its facets, and has become one of the most important festivals of its kind throughout Germany.”

The event is being held on April 5-10, 2022.
