‘Salbutamol’ honored at CFIFF

Iranian short film ‘Salbutamol’ has been honored at the Changing Face International Film Festival (CFIFF) in Australia.

‘Salbutamol’ received an honorable mention at the March edition of CFIFF.

Written by Farhad Mehrkhirani, ‘Salbutamol’ is about the life of a young couple during the coronavirus pandemic.

“A theater actress and her husband, a writer, are spending time in home quarantine amid coronavirus pandemic. In the meantime, they become familiar with the new face of each other,” a synopsis for the film reads.

‘Salbutamol’ is the directorial debut of Iranian theater and film actor Aqil Bahrami.

The film is also starring Donia Mostalemi and Farhad Mehrkhirani.

The Changing Face International Film Festival accepts “thought-provoking, challenging, and engaging films, web series, and screenplays that are part of the changing face of film,” according to an online submission platform.
