Arak tulip festival attracts many visitors

A Tulip festival is currently underway in Iran’s central city of Arak.

More than 100,000 tulips of 40 varieties are planted in the municipality's garden in Arak.

The festival, which opened on Monday, has attracted many visitors who want to spend memorable moment in the picturesque place.

Tulips are considered as Iran’s national flower and has a special place in the Iranian culture.

The festival will close on April 30.
