In conjunction with the International Quds Day, a "Free Palestine 2040" poster featuring key Islamic figures has been released in Tehran.
Local media reported that the poster was revealed Friday on the International Quds Day based on a theme highlighting realization of the promise made by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei that Zionists won’t survive for more than 25 years.
Portraying the great feast of Palestine liberation, the poster depicts Leader of the Islamic Republic as well as influential figures of countries loyal to the Palestinian cause.
The list of personalities includes, among others, Leader of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Rached Ghannouchi, Ismail Haniyeh, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Qasem Soleimani, Bashar al-Assad and Issa Qassem.
Today, millions of people have taken to the streets across Iran and worldwide in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, slamming Israel’s decades-long atrocities against Palestine and its people.
International Quds Day is celebrated on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan, falling this year on June 23, 2017.
