Hatami’s latest film ‘Herman’ will be screened at the 61st edition of the event along with 11 feature films and 13 shorts.
‘Herman’ is the story of an unrequited love of a taxi driver to a woman whom he cannot reach; a love that brings a collection of mysterious behaviors to the viewers.
Leila Hatami and Mehrdad Seddighian are the main stars of the film.
Founded in 1962, the Cannes Critics' Week is the oldest parallel non-competitive section of the Cannes Film Festival.
It showcases first and second feature films by directors from all over the world, and has remained true to its tradition of discovering new talents.
The 61st edition of the Cannes Critics' Week is scheduled for May 18-26, 2022.
