‘A Winner’ by Mehdi Mahaee is taking part in the festival’s Narrative Shorts 3 category.
This film is about a female filmmaker who is on the verge of divorce, but she realizes something that puts her at a crossroads.
Earlier reports said Iranian short films ‘A Narration of a Funeral’ by Amir Sedqi, ‘Psychopath’ by Reza Javanshir, and Yasser Talebi’s ‘Beloved’ are also taking part in the RIFF.
The Riverside International Film Festival was established in 2002.
The RIFF “seeks diverse and challenging films of social upheaval, human conflict, and the boldness of the human spirit”.
The 20th edition of the RIFF kicked off on Wednesday and will run until April 25.
