Iran museum unveils old Quran manuscripts

Reza Abbasi Museum in Iranian capital city of Tehran puts on public view centuries-old Quran manuscripts.

The two Quran manuscripts date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.

The quranic manuscripts had been kept in the repository of the Reza Abbasi Museum before being displayed in the exhibition that opened on Thursday.

The important thing about this showcase is that the manuscripts had not been shown before and this marks the first showcase for public view.

Although these Quran manuscripts do not have special decorations, they are considered exquisite works of the museum.
