Iranian movie ‘Beach Dream’ is scheduled to vie at the Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) in Canada.
The 133-minute film directed by Arash Sajadi Hosseini will be screened at the feature films section of the virtual edition of the event.
“A young boy takes up the management of his mother's hotel after she falls ill. While caring for her and keeping up the business, he finds himself on misadventures with the guests and neighbors,” a synopsis of the film reads.
Ladan Mostofi, Ebrahim Koukhaei, Mahan Nasiri and Omid Fazali star in the movie.
The First Screen Film Distribution, headed by Solmaz Etemad, is in charge of the international distribution of the film.
The Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) hosts both “an annual festival and year-round film programs dedicated to bringing bold, reflective and inspiring films to Waterloo Region,” according to the event’s official website.
This year’s edition of the festival will take place on May 11-15.
