Short Shorts fest to show ‘Recruitment’

The 24th edition of the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) in Japan has scheduled to host Iranian short flick ‘Recruitment’.

Nazanin Chitsaz’s short film will be shown at the Official Competition supported by Sony Asia International Competition program of the festival.

‘Recruitment’ shows an orthodox job interview session. A woman being interviewed for a position in a company is disturbed seeing how the company’s chief of human resources disrespects the inferior employees.

As soon as the woman stands up to him, she finds out that it was all a test of work ethics for her to see if she would take side by what is right or not.

The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia is accredited by the Academy Awards and is one of the largest international short film festivals in Asia.

The 24th edition of the SSFF & ASIA, to take place on June 7-20, will also host Iranian short film ‘Orthodontics’ directed by Mohammad-Reza Mayqani.
