Iranian feature ‘Bone Marrow’ is set to participate in the 2022 Iranian Film Festival of Zurich (IFFZ) in Switzerland.

‘Bone Marrow’, directed by Hamid Reza Qorbani, will be screened in the eighth edition of the festival.

Written by Ali Zarnegar, the film is described as “a captivating portrait of humanism and sacrifice for the sake of family”.

The movie is starring Parinaz Izadyar, Behrouz Shoeibi, Babak Hamidiyan and Javad Ezzati.

Earlier reports said the Iranian feature films ‘Ti Ti, ‘Yadoo’ and ‘No Choice’ will also take part in IFFZ.

The Iranian Film Festival of Zurich is “a platform for presenting the Iranian culture and tradition and for building a bridge between different cultures by the means of the universal language of art – and especially the 7th art, cinema”, the event’s website reads.

The 8th edition of the IFFZ will kick off on May 26 and run until June 01.
