Directed by Barzan Rostami, the animated piece grabbed the Best Short Animation award at the 15th edition of the event.
The 7-minute animation is about understanding and perception of wildlife and environmental abuse, as well as its consequences on the human race.
The animation has been shown at a number of global events, including the R.E.D International Film Festival in Norway, the Snake Alley Festival of Film in the US, and the International Tour Film Festival in Italy.
The film won the award for Best Short Film at the Southern Cone International Film Festival in Mexico. The 13th Smaragdni eco film festival in Croatia also honored the flick with its best animation award.
The Ecozine is an international event dedicated to movies on the environment.
The event has five categories in its Official Competitive Section, with five prizes of the jury in the following categories: Best National Feature Film, Best International Feature Film, Best Documentary Short Film, Best Short Film Animation, and Best Short Fiction.
