Venice hosting Iranian, Italian artists

Iranian and Italian artists have collaboratively been showcasing their artworks in a painting exhibition at the Palazzo Bonin Longare Vicenza in Venice, Italy.

Organized by Tehran-based Sakoo Art School in cooperation with Liceo Statale Antonio Canova and the Museo Internazionale Italia Arte (MIIT), the event focuses on the concept of art and women.

The exhibition features the works by 12 Italian and 12 Iranian artists.

Sadaf Kobari, Shahrzad Taheri, Kimia Yari, Sara Aslan-Beigi, and Niloufar Rastgoftar make the list of Iranian artists participating in the event.

The Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare is a patrician palace in Vicenza, northern Italy. The place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the current name of which is "City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto".

The event, which opened on May 24, will run through May 26, 2022.
