Iran film vie in Switzerland

Iranian short film ‘Starvation’ has been vying at the Othermovie Lugano Film Festival in Switzerland.

Directed by Meysam Mohammad-Khani, the film is representing Iran at the 11th edition of the event currently being held in Lugano.

The social drama focuses on poverty and rules that ruin humanity. A Dawn Syndrome kid stars before the camera of the film.

Nasim Adabi, Alireza Mehran, Mohammad Mousavi and Shiva Veysi have appeared in ‘Starvation’.

Othermovie Lugano Film Festival tackles concerns relating to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

The 11th edition of the festival is currently underway from May 25-31, 2022.
