Third season of ‘Gando’ to be made

The Avini Art and Cultural Institute is to make the third season of ‘Gando’.

Mehdi Naqavian, the director of the institute said a team of writers is working on the script of ‘Gando 3’, following another spy story.

He said the government has provided spiritual support for ‘Gando 3’, easing the obstacles in the way of organizations trying to produce such a series.

The institute also plans to make an animated film based on 'Gando' series' storyline. In addition, the story will be turned into a computer game.

Two previous seasons of the series were directed by Javad Afshar.

The first season of ‘Gando’, currently on the playlist of iFilm English TV, is comprised of 30 episodes.

“When the Iranian intelligence agency discovers a large spy ring operating in the country, a cat and mouse game ensues between Mohammad, the agent in charge of the case, and Michael, one of America’s most important spies,” a synopsis of the series reads.

‘Gando 2’ is also scheduled to hit Film English screen soon.
