Birds released into wild in Hamedan

Several birds of prey have been released back into the wild in the province of Hamedan in west of Iran.

On the occasion of the national environment week, 12 birds of prey have been released in Hamedan after receiving treatment.

Iran is home to hundreds of species of birds.

Each year, a large number of migratory birds also flock to the country, which is home to many wetlands.
