Let’s catch Iran 3D carpet

One of the Armenian churches near the Iranian historic city of Isfahan is home to 3D carpet woven in the 19th century.

The amazing pattern of the carpet presumably depicts the Holy Savior Cathedral or the Church of Saintly Sisters, widely known as Vank Cathedral.

The Vank Cathedral in the Iranian city of Isfahan is the most famous and most visited church in the whole city.

Armenians immigrated to Isfahan upon the order of Shah Abbas II. As they arrived, they began to build a place to live and due to their religious beliefs, building churches such as Vank Cathedral was the first step.
