Bamou: An experience of wildlife in Iran

Bamou National Park, which sits right next to Shiraz, the city of poetry, blossoms, and nightingales, is a protected area where you can see the fauna up close.

Bamou National Park boasts a wide range of animals, from wild goats in the heights, urial sheep and rams on the hills and gazelles in the plains, to wild pigs, Persian leopards and a diverse range of bird species.

When spring arrives,  the Bamu National Park abounds in primrose, tulip, corn poppy and wild anemone flowers.

The good climate and ample rainfall have led to the creation of diverse vegetation in Bamu National Park.

So far over 300 types of plants have been detected in the park that enjoy medicinal properties.

Along with all the attractions of the protected area, upon entering the park, you will find the Museum of Natural History.

Families and friends often come to the area on weekends to enjoy its tranquil beauty.
