Two Persian leopards have been caught on camera trap in the protected area of Beirami Mountain in southern Iran.
The camera trap positioned in the rocky terrain of the highest mountain in Bushehr Province recently snapped surprising photographs of two Persian leopards.
Adult leopards can be seen strolling around the camera trap in the photos as unmistakable evidence that the big cats are still present in the area.
Iran is the most important habitat of Persian leopards, some of which live in Dashtestan, Tangestan and Dashti regions of Bushehr Province.
