Kerman’s Ganjalikhan Mosque in photos

Ganjalikhan Mosque is one of the historical places of worship in the province of Kerman in south of Iran.

The mosque was founded more than four centuries ago. It dates back to the Safavid dynasty.

During the Safavid dynasty, Islamic architecture flourished and many mosques were established.

Ganjalikhan Mosque is part of a historical complex that also includes a bazaar, bath, and caravanserai.

The complex was founded up by order of Ganjalikhan, the then governor of Kerman.

The historical complex, particularly the mosque, is one of the top tourist attractions in the province.
