Iranian movie ‘Immortality’ has been scheduled to compete at the 15th edition of the Ischia International Film Festival (IFF) in Italy.
Directed by Mehdi Fard-Qaderi, the movie is to race with eight other movies from around the globe at the competition section of the Italian event.
Produced by Javad Norouzbeigi, ‘Immortality’ has recently been qualified to go on screen at the Munich International Film Festival 2017 in Germany.
‘Immortality’ is Fard-Qaderi's first feature film that depicts events happening on a train during a rainy night. It chronicles six different families on different wagons of the train, gradually unfolding their stories.
Ischia Film Festival cooperates together with the main Italian universities, providing research and data related to cinema tourism to be discussed in academic dissertations on territorial marketing, cinema and cinetourism.
This edition of IFF, currently underway in the Italian Island of Ischia, has been slated for June 24 to July 1, 2017.
