Zrewar (AKA Zrebar and Zarivar) Lake is considered as one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Kordestan Province in west of Iran.

The lake is a destination for tourists from across the country and the world all round the year.

The area of the lake is nearly 20 kilometers. It is one of the sweet-water lakes in Iran.

The water of the lake comes from wells underneath as well as rain and snow.

The lake, a natural habitat for animals, lies in the county of Marivan.

It is designated as a national protected area.

It is inscribed on Iran’s national heritage list.
