Golestan Palace showcasing artifacts of 20 countries

Tehran-based Golestan Palace has been running the Exhibition of Nations (artifacts of 20 countries of the world).

“The Golestan Exhibition through the Lens of Nations” has been significantly welcomed by many tourists and travelers.

The exhibition is hosting lesser-seen works from the treasure of a global collection, which includes works from different countries of the world.

The works belong to countries such as France, Italy, Holland, Austria, Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Ottoman, Armenia, India, Sudan, Romania, Germany, Vatican, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Russia and Iran.

Some of the Iranian items on display are the oldest Persian typewriter, Naser al-Din Shah's camera, Muzaffar al-Din Shah's menu and an album of Qajar era political figures.

According to the Director of the World Heritage Collection of Golestan Palace, the works include medals donated by the kings of the world to the leaders of Iran, weapons, bows and arrows, dishes and porcelain, typewriters, paintings, cameras and other works, including a piece of Lakh Taranj carpet from Isfahan.

The exhibit is open to visitors and tourists for two months.
