Zarivar: A lake with no rivers

Lake Zarivar is the most important and unique attraction in the Zagros Mountains, within Kordistan Province of western Iran.

People ride pedal boats on the vast body of sweet-water Zarivar.

The lake is supplied with nearby snow-capped mountains and natural springs flowing at the bottom.

Furthermore, it is an important habitat for local and migratory birds.
