Visit Niavaran Palace through your ears!

Tehran-based Niavaran Cultural Historical Complex has launched audio guide service and facility app for visitors.

Six museums are covered in the guide, along with the items on show and descriptions of historical occurrences from the Qajar through the Pahlavi eras.

Visitors can use the device by either downloading a relevant application on their smartphones or scanning incorporated QR codes along the way.

The audio guide, which will soon be available in English, enables sightseers to easily see and appreciate the complex's various museums.

In early 2022, the complex launched a series of virtual tours using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

Constructed in the 19th and 20th centuries during the late Qajar and Pahlavi eras, the Niavaran Cultural Historical Complex encompasses several landmark buildings, museums, and monuments.

The palace was built as a summer residence over the then countryside area of the capital under the order of Fath-Ali Shah of the Qajar Dynasty some 280 years ago.
