Date harvest in Iran’s Khuzestan

Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan is the second largest producer of dates in the country.

The harvest season of dates in Khuzestan begins each year in the middle of September.

This year, some 190,000 tons of dates are expected to be picked in Khuzestan’s 17 cities.

The province’s dates are of high quality and are exported to various countries in Asia and Europe.
