‘Psycho’ screens in Bangladesh

‘Psycho’, a short film from Iran is competing at the International Inter University Short Film Festival in Bangladesh.

Mostafa Davtalab’s ‘Psycho’ is representing Iran at the 14th edition of the event.

The 14-minute ‘Psycho’ is about a young woman and a patient with a psychiatric disorder - who take a taxi to a psychiatric hospital.

On the way to the hospital, a serious betrayal conflict happens between the two that puts the driver in a maniac state.

Reza Amouzad, Roya Hosseini and Mohammad Nariman make the cast team of the short flick.

Previously, ‘Psycho’ competed at the Under the Moon International Film Festival (Islantilla Cinefórum) and the Riurau Int’l Short Film Festival, both in Spain.

In 2007, International Inter University Short Film Festival (IIUSFF) started its journey with the goal to provide a platform for young and talented student filmmakers in Bangladesh and overseas to showcase their talent.

The 2022 edition of the event is currently underway from October 11 -25.
