‘A Minor’ to vie in India

Iranian film ‘A Minor’ is scheduled to vie at the 52nd GOA International Film Festival in India.

The festival announced Dariush Mehrjoui’s directorial experience among the name of 15 final movies of the main competition section.

The screenplay for ‘A Minor’ was jointly written by the director and Vahideh Mohammadifar.

Ali Nasiryan, Pardis Ahmadieh, Siamak Ansari, Ali Mosaffa, Mehrdad Seddighian, Behnaz Jafari, Kaveh Afaq, Ezzatollah Ramezanifar, Reza Davoudnejad, and Amrollah Saberi are among the cast of the film.

The festival aims at providing a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of the film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; and promoting friendship and cooperation among people of the world.

The 52nd edition of the event is slated for November 20-28, 2022.
