‘Katvoman’ screens online in Italy

Iranian short ‘Katvoman’ is having online screenings  at the Magma International Short Film Festival in Italy.

The film, written and directed by Hadi Sheibani, is inspired by the fictional character of Catwoman.

“Katvoman has become weak to the extent that she cannot save people anymore,” a synopsis for the film reads.

‘Katvoman’ received its world premiere at the 20th Molise Cinema Film Festival in Italy.

The film was awarded at the 58th edition of the International Amateur Film Festival of Kelibia in Tunisia.

Since 2002 Magma festival has allowed its audience to see uncommon, high-quality films that recount real-life stories and great adventures by experimenting with different styles and techniques.

The 2022 edition of the event was held on November 14-19, while the online screening kicked off on November 20, currently underway.
